OUR STORY

Ywam Shkodër was founded on August 2018 when the Missionaries Eduardo and Rose Piña after being 10 years in Ywam Buenos Aires Argentina and then serving 2 years in Ywam Durrës were sent under the blessing of Ywam Albania Board and came together with a staff team to pioneer the first Ywam location in the city of Shkodër

OUR MINISTRIES

Sports Ministry

Football School called Aguilas F.C in a Muslim neighborhood of Shkoder where children not only have a professional football training but we share bible values and principles in order to invest in all the areas of their life ( Physical , Emotional and Espiritual ) .

Bible Study with Professional Football Players .

Mercy Ministry

Home Visits : We visit some vulnerable families in order to bring the love of God in practical ways , helping not only with physical needs but the most important thing is sharing a word of Hope and Love.

Unreached Villages Ministry

Our heart is to reach out villages around Shkoder where there is no Evangelical Christian Churches or Believers spreading the gospel and bringing community development through Sports , Education , Mercy Ministry and Arts .

Children Orphanage

As Ywam Shkoder, we are partnering with a Local organization called Hope for the World Shkodër , where we can do different activities inside of an orphanage for 0-5-year-olds, including Bible teaching , crafts and games. Also we have the authorization to take some children from another orphanage 7-15 years old to be part of our football school training.

Roma Children Center

Partnering with Hope for the World Shkodër we serve at the Multifunctional Center with Roma children where we are free to share a Bible teaching , crafts, and games and we also send international teams to support their ministry.

Partnering with Local Churches

We support different churches in Shkodër and outside the city, going ourselves as staff or sending short-term teams to help and support their local ministries with evangelism, preaching, sport activities, and practical services.

Staff

Join us as a full-time staff and be part of all the things that God is doing in Albania. To join as staff, you must first complete a Discipleship Training School (DTS).

Volunteer

If you would like to serve alongside us as a short-term volunteers to up 3 months and get to know more about ministries opportunities you are more than welcome .To join as a short -term volunteer Discipleship Training School is NOT a requirement.
